This isn’t your average flavored water. The Blueberry Mint Elixir was crafted to do more than hydrate — it’s designed to energize your mind, reduce inflammation, and taste amazing while staying under 25 calories a glass.
It’s the kind of drink you’ll crave mid-morning, after a workout, or as an afternoon pick-me-up — but without the crash.
This one’s been on repeat in my kitchen.
I try to keep a pitcher of it in the fridge during warm weeks — especially when I’m editing videos or need to clear my head mid-afternoon. It’s clean, crisp, and wakes up my brain without caffeine overload.
It’s part of our Drink Week series: easy, functional drinks you can make in minutes that actually do something for your body.
What’s in it?
This 2-liter pitcher packs:
🫐 1¼ cups fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed) – rich in brain-supporting anthocyanins
🌿 10–12 fresh mint leaves – crisp, cooling, and clarity-boosting
🍋 Juice of 3 lemons – loaded with vitamin C and detox benefits
🍵 1 green tea bag – provides calm alertness with gentle caffeine and L-theanine
💧 6 cups of water total (including ice)
❌ No sugar – sweetened naturally with monk fruit or stevia
All blended together in minutes — no fancy equipment or syrups required.
How to Make It (2-Liter Recipe)
1. Make the Tea:
Steep 1 green tea bag in ½ cup of hot water (~175°F) for 3–4 minutes. Remove the bag and let it cool completely.
2. Blend the Base:
In a blender, combine:
1¼ cups blueberries
10–12 mint leaves
Juice of 3 lemons
2 tsp monk fruit or stevia
Cooled green tea
2 cups cold water
Blend until smooth.
3. Strain (Optional):
If you prefer a smooth drink, strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
4. Finish It Off:
Pour into a large pitcher. Add 2 more cups of cold water and 2 cups of ice. Stir and serve chilled.
Optional garnish: mint sprig or a few whole blueberries.
